RER and Metro

The RER runs 7 days a week from 4.45 a.m. to 1.30 a.m. Timetables are posted in the stations and on the platforms. On average there is a train every 10 minutes every day. The price of a one-way ticket depends on your starting station and your arrival station.

The metro runs every day from 5.20 a.m. to 1.20 a.m. plus one additional hour on saturday night. On average there is a train every 5 minutes every day. One-way ticket costs 1,60€


Airports

From Charles de Gaulle : take the RER B 'Paris by train' to the station 'Saint-Michel Notre-Dame', then take the RER C to 'Bibliothèque François Mitterrand' (try to get on the front of the train).Take the 'South' exit 'Grands Moulins'.The cost of a one-way ticket from CDG is 8,50€ and the journey takes around one hour.
 

From Orly : take the Orlyval to the station 'Antony' on the RER B line, then take the RER B to the station 'Saint-Michel Notre-Dame', then the RER C to 'Bibliothèque François Mitterrand' (try to get on the front of the train).Take the 'South' exit 'Grands Moulins'.The cost of a one-way ticket from Orly is around 10,00€ and the journey takes around one hour.



Train Stations

From Gare de Lyon: take Metro Line 14, direction 'Olympiades' to 'Bibliothèque François Mitterrand'. It takes 15 minutes.

From Gare du Nord: take the RER B to the station 'Saint-Michel Notre-Dame', then take the RER C to 'Bibliothèque François Mitterrand' (try to get on the front of the train). Take the 'South' exit 'Grands Moulins'. It takes 30 minutes.

From Gare de l'Est: take Metro Line 4, direction 'Porte d’Orléans' to 'Châtelet', then Line 14, direction 'Olympiades' to 'Bibliothèque François Mitterrand'. It takes 30 minutes.

From Gare Montparnasse: take Metro Line 4, direction 'Porte de Clignancourt' to 'Saint-Michel Notre-Dame', then take the RER C to 'Bibliothèque François Mitterrand' (try to get on the front of the train). Take 'South' exit 'Grands Moulins'. It takes 20 munites.
