The scientific conference will take place from 15 October to 19 October, each day from about 9:00 to 17:30, including 2 coffee breaks and a lunch break.
Wednesday afternoon (17 October) is free and tickets for museums or a boat cruise are proposed to all participants (included in the registration fee).
On Wednesday evening the 10th anniversary of the launch will be celebrated during the conference dinner.
The scientific programme foresees a limited number of invited review talks of 40 min. duration, several solicited talks (30 min), oral contributions (20 min) and posters. All durations include 5 min for discussion.
Contributions to the workshop shall cover the following scientific topics:
- X-ray binaries (IGR sources, black holes, neutron stars, white dwarfs)
- Isolated neutron stars (gamma-ray pulsars, magnetars)
- Nucleo-synthesis (SNe, Novae, SNRs, ISM) and gamma-ray lines (511 keV)
- Galactic diffuse continuum emission (including Galactic Ridge)
- Massive black holes in AGNs, elliptical galaxies, nucleus of the Galaxy
- Sky surveys, source populations and unidentified gamma-ray sources
- Cosmic background radiation
- Gamma-ray bursts
- Coordinated observations with other ground- and space-based observatories
- Science data processing and analysis (posters only)
- Future instruments and missions (posters only)
Note that the program includes two parallel sessions on Monday 15 afternoon and on Tuesday 16 afternoon.
Posters will be displayed in two “sessions”:
session I from Monday 15, 08:30 am to Tuesday 16 included
session II from Wednesday 17, 08:30 am to Friday 19, 16:30
each poster author has received the information concerning poster session where his/her poster has to be displayed.
Posters can be orally advertised at the end of the talk sessions for a maximum time of 1.5 min with one slide display. To be able to advertise their poster authors shall provide by the 8th October the 1 slide poster-advertising in PDF format to the organizers.
Authors have to collect their poster at the end of the session and before the beginning of the new display session. Failing to do so may result in the loss of the poster.
